ello fellow funsters. Welcome to Merle's Whirls. Each of us has our own life's passions. As a journalist, travel, dining, and entertainment are my niche. But it's not as much fun if I can't share my experiences and encourage you to go out there and explore new sites and sights. Take a risk and enjoy life! For more about Merle, read a brief biography. Comments are welcome! Email me at: mexit@toyou.com STILL CLIMBING IN RACE CAR WINDOWS, by Merle ExitI purchased a "timeshare" and am a member of the press, which has certainly had its benefits, so you wont be surprised to read that I love to travel. My goal is to travel all 50 states and so far I have done at least half. This year alone Ive been to Provincetown, Mass., taken a cruise along the Alaskan coast, gone down to Florida twiceOrlando, then Ft. Myers (Sanibel Island) and Tampa (Madeira Island), up to Rochester, and Smugglers Notch in Vermont. What's important to me is that I do, or at least TRY to do, one thing that Ive never done before. Now, that may sound easy for some people, but you need to know about my biggest fears: water and height. I cant swim a stroke and stage freight for me means getting close to the edge of the stage. >>click here for more.
