Washington Park was the home ground for the Brooklyn Tip Tops. Washington Park was located in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn on 4th Avenue and 1st Street.
Washington Park was not a new ballfield. It was originally built in 1898 at a cost of $60,000 and was the home of the then named Brooklyn Superbas. The Superbas moved out of Washington Park following the 1912 season. In 1913, the Dodgers moved to a section of Brooklyn called Pigtown and played at Ebbets Field.
