ike you, who doesn't like to save money by buying certificates from their favorite places. If something looked even remotely interesting I usually bought it. I didn't just buy them from the main social networking sites like Living Social and Groupon, I would scour the Internet looking for bargains, not only in my local area but also within a 200-mile radius. It got to the point where I had to put together a spreadsheet to keep track of what certificates I had and when they would expire.
At first I thought it was just me, but on the radio on one of the finance talk shows, the host said that buying certificates are not always a bargain. It seems that he got a gift for a rather expensive certificate to drive a race car, but because of scheduling he just plain forgot to use it and he lost the cost of the certificate. It was at that point that I decided to come up with website that could sent out reminders.
Now most of the websites selling the cerficates sent out reminder emails but not all do and hopefully this site can help you manage your certificates in one place especially if you buy them from multiple sources. To make the site more useful, we will also create a listing place for your unwanted gift certificates. You can buy, sell, or trade your certificates in our Market Place section.
If you have any comments or suggestions we would love to hear from you. We want to make this website as useful as possible and help you manage your savings from the certificates your have purchased. To contact us, just visit our Contact Us page.
